Lane Reduction Begins Monday for Utility Work on University Avenue

Beginning Monday, April 19, 2021, University Avenue near Oregon Street will be reduced to one lane that will serve as a one-way entrance into campus. The closure is necessary for El Paso Water to replace a sewer line in that area.

Inbound campus traffic will be reduced to one lane, and outbound campus traffic will be detoured north of the Student Union to Randolph Drive. Click here to see a map of the impacted area.

The construction work is expected to last three to four weeks.
