Motorists may see a lane reduction between the Schuster Parking Garage and Miner Heights student housing. Motorists and pedestrians are asked to follow detour signage while in the area.

The official campus drop-off/pickup point located in the SC1 parking lot will temporarily close during the construction period. Traffic is advised to use the drop-off/pickup point located in the SB2 parking lot as an alternative.

The Miner Metro shuttle route along Schuster Avenue may be impacted during construction. For up-to-date information on shuttle routes, visit utep.edu/map and click on the “transit” tab.

The construction project is expected to last eight weeks.
