A new five-story, co-ed residence hall called Miner Crossing is coming in 2028, featuring single and double occupancy rooms, lounge areas, study spaces, a fitness center and a dining hall with built-in meal plan. The new home for freshmen Miners will be located in a portion of what is now the Glory Road 2 parking lot, near Kidd Field.
The project begins with demolition of the Ross Moore Building and portions of the Kidd Field bleachers. Pedestrian routes will be impacted throughout the duration of the project. Clear signage will be provided to guide students, faculty and staff safely around the construction area and along designated pathways. Vehicle traffic in surrounding areas may also experience periodic impacts. Additional signage and updated guidance will be provided as work progresses.
