Construction Engineering and Management provides students with the industry knowledge and leadership skills to plan and manage construction projects. Through UTEP research centers such as the Center for Transportation and Infrastructure Systems, students learn to design, plan, construct and maintain transportation and infrastructure facilities.
Earn credit toward a master’s degree in construction management through the fast-track program
Gain work experience through a required internship that is part of the program
Intern at local companies such as Jordan Foster Construction or national firms such as Cummins
When Amanda Major heard about a program that combined engineering and business leadership, she jumped at the chance. Today, she is a business development manager in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
