While a UTEP student, China native Kaelin Li Walker was a teaching assistant in the Department of Theatre and Dance and a member of the Desert Dance student organization. She also served as a peer leader on the Student Engagement Board, a Student Government Association Senator At Large, and vice president of the University Honors Council. She appreciated her “top notch, super diverse” faculty. She plans to attend graduate school.
Many UTEP dance graduates find employment as educators, dance studio teachers and owners, dance team coaches, community dance practitioners, arts administrators, movement specialists and dance therapists.
