UTEP's unique geographical and binational location in the Chihuahuan Desert and the Franklin Mountains offers an exciting location to study ecology and evolutionary biology. Graduates of the program are prepared for jobs related to environmental changes associated with human impacts on natural resources. The degree is also a pathway to graduate degrees in biology, conservation biology, zoology, plant science or wildlife management.
