Yazmin Montoya leveraged the expertise she honed at UTEP to work at Intel, the world’s largest semiconductor chip manufacturer by revenue. She used the company's cloud computing and machine learning as part of thesis research for her master's degree in systems engineering at UTEP.
Program graduates transition from UTEP to successful careers in engineering and technology companies in the U.S. and abroad; in service science and engineering companies such as Apple, AT&T, Halliburton, Google and IBM; and in aerospace, defense, energy and manufacturing industries, including NASA and Department of Defense laboratories; and in academic positions.
