Samantha Linn grew up in countries throughout the Middle East and Eastern Africa before her family settled in El Paso. She said one of the things that attracted her to the English and American Literature program was the faculty who are passionate about literature and encourage their students. She also appreciates the large number of elective courses. Samantha is completing a concentration in British and American Literature.
The English and American Literature program builds critical thinking, communication and research skills that are essential in fields as diverse as literature, film, law, public relations and teaching. Many graduates go on to teach in the El Paso region.
