"Mathemusician" Larry Lesser, Ph.D., is an award-winning professor and songwriter who uses music to teach lessons on infinity, pi, the lottery and more. His memorable and effective teaching has been recognized by awards such as the 2021 Waller Distinguished Teaching Career Award by the American Statistical Association.
Recent math graduates have gone on to work for the NSA and other government agencies as well as private industry. People with strong backgrounds in mathematics and statistics are sought after in almost any area of business or government.
