El Paso native Taylor Gamboa said UTEP’s philosophy program helped her look at every side of a situation. The first-generation college graduate said that skill has served her well. She is a recipient of UTEP’s Presidential Excellence Scholarship and is currently attending law school at the University of California, Berkeley.
