Early Career Faculty Support

Early-career faculty may be eligible for funding opportunities from major federal and non-federal agencies. Research & Innovation (R&I) provides resources, mentorship, and personalized support to help faculty build competitiveness and advance their research careers.

Career Club

Career Club offers a holistic and strategic approach to proposal development. Designed for early career faculty, it provides:

  • A supportive community of fellow researchers on similar journeys.

  • Proposal development resources to guide research initiatives.

  • Targeted events to enhance skills and push proposals forward with both federal and non-federal funding agencies.

Career Club members receive comprehensive support. Starting early in a cohort setting allows for setting benchmarks, refining ideas, and receiving feedback from the Research Development team and subject matter experts.

Biweekly Career Club Events

Members will have access to events featuring comprehensive proposal development training and valuable networking opportunities. These events are designed to enhance skills in crafting compelling proposals and advancing grant writing.

Building a Community

Networking is a central component of the Career Club. Connect with like-minded faculty, exchange experiences, and build relationships that can support future research endeavors. The connections made within this community can lead to collaborations, ideas, and resources that support long-term success.

Join the Club

Career Club cohorts are selected through a competitive internal process. Competitions are hosted on InfoReady and announced in our Events & Learning bulletin that goes out on Fridays.
