College of Science Dean Welcomes Readers to Newsletter
Friday, July 1, 2022
Welcome to the inaugural Science @ UTEP newsletter. Our plan for this monthly College of Science publication is to include recent news, profiles of students, faculty and alumni, and research highlights. We will include links to interesting features and videos for our valued readers. I may even write an occasional column to share college news.

This newsletter will augment the content of our website that shares links to accolades that speak well of our talented faculty and staff as well as our determined students.
Links on our website offer information about careers in all areas of science and mathematics. Included among them are the exciting new fields of forensic science and data science. Whether you are just out of high school or already have some college credit, we have Bachelor of Science degree programs that will make you competitive for your career goals.
If you are still considering multiple career options, we can help with opportunities for real experiences in teaching, research and medicine. If postgraduate education is a certainty for you, ask about our accelerated programs that lead to a Master of Science and/or doctoral degrees.
We hope you enjoy the content in this newsletter and look forward to ideas from you, our valued readers, that we can promote and share with all our alumni. Let us know and we will work to include it in our next one.
Hasta la próxima ... and, go, Miners!
