Talks, Tutorials, and Workshops

As an important part of your professional training, all bioinformatics students are required to attend this weekly event in Bell Hall 143 or one of the bioinformatics labs. Please reserve the time from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon every Friday except holidays observed by UTEP. Professional Training and Talks A series of talks, tutorials, and workshops for professional development (e.g., resume writing, interview techniques) has been scheduled for bioinformatics students. Please check your emails for details. Only research seminars and special lectures by invited speakers will be posted online at Bioinformatics Colloquium. Completion of this training with satisfactory ratings based on attendance, punctuality, and participation is mandatory for all bioinformatics students to receive good evaluations and recommendations upon graduation. |
