Project Title: Synthesis and Characterizations of U-based Endohedral Metallofullerenes.
Project Description: In this project, we are going to synthesize U-based endohedral fullerenes by modified arcing method, and then isolated and characterize these fullerenes, especially by X-ray single crystal diffraction method, to understand the unique interactions between U-based atoms or clusters and the fullerene cages.
