You’re invited to spend the day with us and experience life as a Miner! Orange & Blue Day is your chance to see firsthand why so many students choose to call UTEP home. Explore and take a tour, mingle with faculty and students and get to know more about academics, financial aid, housing, and everything that is UTEP. Enjoy lunch, live music and a variety of demonstrations and performances at this free event!

Follow along as our enthusiastic and knowledgeable student tour guides show you around campus. Experience the beauty of our 420-acre campus while you learn about our history, spirit, and traditions.

Our on-campus housing and Student Recreation Center tour will provide you with an inside look at our apartment-style housing facilities and beautiful Student Recreation Center, including pools, an indoor track and climbing wall, racquetball and basketball courts, cardio and weight machines and freeweight area.

Students who have been admitted to UTEP by October 30 will have access to an exclusive Admitted Miner area at Orange & Blue Day. Attendees will receive a VIP gift box with a limited edition shirt and an opportunity to register for New Student Orientation. Celebrate your acceptance with Paydirt Pete and share your excitement on becoming a UTEP Miner!

Parents and family members can take a break in this designated area. Connect with UTEP representatives and learn about the admissions process, paying for school and supporting your student every step of the way. The area also gives parents an exclusive place to meet and talk with other parents over snacks and refreshments and share the Miner experience.

Lunch is on us! All registered students and their guests will be provided free lunch, refreshments, and snacks.

There is no cost to attend Orange & Blue Day. Lunch and refreshments will be provided to all who attend.

Orange & Blue Day is an event exclusively for high school juniors and seniors. Family members are welcome to attend and encouraged to explore and participate in the many activities that will be available.

Attendees are not required to show proof of vaccination. For vaccinated individuals, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention does not recommend wearing a mask outdoors. For communities designated as a high or substantial transmission area, the CDC recommends masks for vaccinated individuals while indoors in a public setting, and/or if someone in their household has an impaired immune system or is unvaccinated. Orange & Blue Day events take place both indoors and outdoors. Activities and tours will take place across the UTEP campus and will require walking. We encourage appropriate clothing and shoes be worn that will offer the most comfort.

The event is scheduled to end at 2 p.m. There are separate check-in times for high school juniors and seniors, so check the schedule for more information. Once registered, attendees will receive a confirmation email with all the details for the event.
