An interviewer’s first impression of how you look at the interview is important, so make it count! Regardless of how your interview is conducted, in-person, or virtual, you want to look polished and feel confident.
The UTEP Career Closet provides professional clothing to students for interviews, networking events, and other occasions where it is important to make a positive first impression.
The Career Closet and Etiquette Dinner program are for currently enrolled UTEP students only. UTEP graduates are not eligible for these two programs.
Who can use this service?
The Career Closet is a free lending service available to currently enrolled UTEP students with an active Job Mine account.
Check-in & Check-out schedule
Days and times are M-F 8:15am-1:00pm & 2:00pm-4:30pm.
You have seven (7) calendar days to use checked out items. There is no limit to the number of times you can check-out items per fall or spring semesters.
Before returning the items, they must be dry cleaned by a professional dry cleaning business with an itemized receipt attached. The receipt must contain the renter’s name and all rented items; items will not be accepted for return without a receipt.
Failure to Return
An academic hold will be placed on your Goldmine and Job Mine accounts if the items are not returned by the due date. A Career Closet hold will prevent you from registering for classes, adding/dropping a course, and purchasing an official academic transcript.
Replacement & Condition of Items
If an item is not returned or is returned damaged, a replacement fee will be charged. The replacement value for each item will be discussed during the initial visit. Payments are accepted via check or online.
