Artisan Market Call For Vendors

BECOME AN ARTISAN VENDOR AT MINERPALOOZA!

On September 6, 2024, The University of Texas at El Paso will host an artisan market for the first time ever at Minerpalooza! Minerpalooza is UTEP’s largest event of the year and features live music, local food options, and fun for the whole family. Artisan vendors with original art and handmade products are invited to apply for the artisan market at Minerpalooza!

HOURS OF OPERATION:
Friday, September 6, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

LOCATION:
Fox Fine Arts Plaza

APPLICATION DEADLINE AND FEES:
Please fill out the entire application. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Submission of application does not guarantee acceptance. Upon acceptance, a fee of $50 for the space must be paid by Thursday, September 5. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

ART VENDOR REQUIREMENTS:

  • All artwork must be original and handcrafted by the applicant.
  • Vendors must be at least 18 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times.
  • Absolutely NO resale items or copyright images or materials are permitted.
  • No additional items may be sold (i.e. water, candy, etc.) unless allowed by the coordinators. Providing of services (i.e. facepainting, tarot card reading, henna tattoos, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
  • Minerpalooza is a family-friendly event, and artwork must be appropriate.
  • Minerpalooza’s committee will review all applications and select participants. Spaces are limited.
  • Vendors are responsible for all operation equipment and supplies.
  • Each vendor is encouraged to promote the event on their social media platforms. Please tag @utepminerpalooza in the merch you will have for sale, and we will share!

VENDOR BOOTH REQUIREMENTS:

  • Vendors must bring their own supplies and equipment (tent, weights, table, tablecloth, easels, chairs, battery or solar operated lights for the evening, etc).
  • Electricity WILL NOT be provided. No electricity outlets will be available, and no extension cords can be plugged in.
  • Booths may not exceed the standard 10’ X 10’ tent size.
  • Spaces will be assigned and are non-transferable.
  • Please be prepared to provide your own internet connection to proceed with your sales. The venue will not provide Wi-Fi connection.
  • All vendors must be set-up and ready for business on time and maintain full operations throughout the event.
  • Booths should be fully staffed and stocked at all times.
  • Set-up will begin at 3 p.m. Please do not be late.
  • Vendors are required to stay the entire time of the market. If the vendor leaves early, we have the right to not have you back for future markets. If you have an emergency, please let Claudia or Stephanie know right away.
  • The University of Texas at El Paso is not responsible if anything happens to the vendors items or property.
  • Vendors who do not follow market rules may be asked to shut down and leave.
