Email your Paper to us
The UWC is available to review your papers during the Maymester and Summer sessions. We are working on papers Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 4:00pm. While we do our best to get to all the emailed papers as quickly as possible, there is still the possibility of a 72 hour turnaround - please plan ahead if you are emailing your paper to us!!!
A couple of notes on how this will work for you:
1) There is a 72 hour turnaround time - this does not include weekends - if your paper is due within the next 72 hours, we may not get to it!
2) We can only receive Microsoft Word files, if you send us a file format we cannot open, we will send it back to you and this may delay your suggested revisions.
3) We will use track changes and comments on your paper. Click here to review how to use Track Changes in Word.
3) We will only review 10-12 pages per submission. This gives our Consultants time to review your paper thoroughly and enough work for you to do once it is returned. If you send a document more than 10-12 pages, please indicate which sections you would like us to review.
4) Only use a valid UTEP email address - we will not send papers back to any other email address.
5) Make sure you enter your email address correctly (@utep.edu or @miners.utep.edu). @my.utep.edu IS NOT A VALID UTEP EMAIL ADDRESS - and if you do not enter your email address correctly, we cannot return it to you!
The Writing Center will be closed during Intersession (May 30th - June 8th). You may still email us your paper through this link, but we will not be available to review it until we return on June 8th.
