This program provided students an opportunity to participate in a professional learning experience with UTEP partners.
Throughout this 56-week program, UTEP focused on establishing new and strengthening existing relationships with small businesses, non-profit and public sector entities to open the doors for additional student engagement opportunities. This program provided support to students and organizations during the economic downturn and post COVID-19 pandemic transition. The cost of hosting an intern was covered by the CARES ACT II administered by The University of Texas at El Paso.
Students were invited to participate in a professional learning experience with UTEP partners.
Local public, private and non-profit organizations were invited to apply to host UTEP student(s) interns under the UTEP CARES Regional Internship Program.
