Dr. Kuldeep Singh is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology in India in 2018 and previously served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University, where he contributed to research on social engineering and cyber deception.

His research explores the cognitive, social, and environmental factors that influence cybersecurity behavior, with specific focus on phishing, cyberbullying, and campus safety. His broader interests include behavioral cybersecurity, privacy, and agent-based modeling, which he applies to study human interaction and decision-making in digital environments.

As both a researcher and educator, Dr. Singh is dedicated to bridging theory and practice by connecting academic research in cybersecurity with real-world applications. He is a published scholar and active journal reviewer, committed to mentoring students and promoting awareness and resilience against evolving cyber threats.
