Research Stations

The Aerospace Center is rapidly expanding its state-of-the-art facilities to propel groundbreaking aerospace research into new frontiers. Our new $80 million, 93,000-square-foot Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace Center (AMAC) at UTEP is home to two research powerhouses: the Aerospace Center and the W.M. Keck Center for 3D Innovation. This advanced facility significantly enhances our research capabilities and increases opportunities for training the next generation of aerospace innovators.

AMAC is more than a physical space; it's a catalyst for building partnerships and collaborations that ignite frontier-breaking research!

Fueled by cutting-edge infrastructure, research, and technology development, and strategic partnerships, our capabilities span designing, building, and testing technologies essential for space exploration, defense, and sustainable energy solutions. These combined assets position the Aerospace Center as a leader in aerospace, defense, and energy innovation, while offering students unparalleled hands-on research experiences.

Our facilities meet strict ITAR compliance standards and support research within Controlled Unclassified Information environments, with a SCIF for classified research coming soon!
