Why Participate?
Whether you're a student looking to give back, a faculty member seeking service-based connections, or a community partner seeking extra hands and offering learning opportunities to volunteers, Days of Service are an opportunity to:
- Identify issues in our community and create a positive change.
- Develop leadership and teamwork skills
- Strengthen connections between UTEP and El Paso community organizations
- Support projects focused on social justice, sustainability, education, and more
Signature Events
We host several signature Days of Service throughout the year, including:
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service (January)
- Project Move (April)
- 9/11 National Day of Service (September)
- Make a Difference Day (October)
Each event focuses on honoring, reflecting and serving critical local issues, promoting connections and the bettering of the community.

Are you a local organization looking for volunteer support?
We want to work with you! Whether you're seeking support for cleanups, mural painting, food distribution, administration tasks, or community outreach efforts , our students are happy and eager to serve.
