Mission

Our mission is to advance evidence-based health policy by conducting rigorous quantitative research on social determinants of health and healthcare disparities among Hispanic and minority populations along the US-Mexico border. Through collaborative research, partnerships, and education, we seek to inform legislation, foster community engagement, and shape equitable health policies along the border region.

Vision

We envision a border region where informed legislation and empowered communities work hand in hand to create equitable, high-quality healthcare for every individual regardless of background or circumstance.
