37th GREAT MINDS IN STEM CONFERENCE
37th Great Minds in STEM Conference
99 Computer Science UTEP students immersed themselves in the 37th Great Minds in STEM Conference in San Diego, California. During this event, students not only got to meet like-minded peers and professionals but also got the opportunity of participating in sessions like Machine Learning Workshop and Cybersecurity workshops. They also engaged in competitions like the CAHSI Data Analytics challenge and the Cyber Security Hackathon. Students also got the opportunity to present their research to experts in STEM fields.
The following students were recognized in their respective categories:
CAHSI Hackathon – Novice 3rd place: Emily K. Fernandez, Brianna Gurrola, and Armando Levario Alvarez
CAHSI Data Analytics 1st place: Victoria Lozano and Johana Hermosillo

In addition, the cohort of UTEP CAHSI Scholars and Advocates was announced at the CAHSI Student Leadership Luncheon.

In addition, the Coding Interview Club hosted sessions to help students and guide them through the process of technical interviews. Around 200+ students across different institutions attended the technical prep and problem-solving sessions.
