Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence (BSAI)

The BSAI program equips students with cutting-edge skills in artificial intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning, and data-driven decision-making. Graduates will possess an understanding of both the technical and ethical dimensions of AI.

AI technologies can be utilized across a wide range of applications, such as planning and optimization, perception and computer vision, simulation and modeling, natural language processing, robotic process automation, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics.

Program Educational Objectives

Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence program will be trained and empowered to achieve the following core capabilities:

• Identify how artificial intelligence can help produce an optimized solution given a complex, real-world problem.
• Apply both symbolic and numeric computational models effectively.
• Apply artificial intelligence mechanisms for advanced automated decision-making and action selection.
• Apply artificial intelligence principles within multi-agent systems, distributed systems, and critical man-machine interfaces.
• Design, analyze, implement, and deploy state-of-the-art AI and machine learning techniques to process real-world data sequences, including image, speech, and natural language data containing ambient noise or uncertainty.
• Apply fundamental computer science foundational skills, including data structure and algorithm design, software programming, and computing systems integration.
• Apply mathematical modeling foundations, including discrete mathematics, computer logic, probability, statistical analysis, classification paradigms, and structural regressions.
