Minor in Computer Science
The Minor in Computer Science consists of 20 or more credit hours.
The main goal of the minor is for students to learn and apply computer science knowledge to provide solutions to real-world problems. For detailed information on courses, click on the Course Learning Outcomes and catalog course descriptions.

Minor Degree Requirements
The Computer Science minor requires 20 credit hours of Computer Science courses. Because of the prerequisite sequence, it normally requires at least 4 semesters to complete the minor. Note: Some of our CS courses have prerequisites that are not part of the CS minor degree plan.
