2021 MENTE Symposium Essay Contest
Students in the 2021 MENTE Symposium may participate in an essay contest. It is an opportunity to engage students in a practice similar to when they will apply for scholarships as they approach college. Essays will be judged on content, style, and attention to detail in presentation and format (e.g. grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.). Students ARE NOT required to participate in the Essay Contest in order to attend the MENTE Symposium. Winners will be notified ahead of time for planning purposes prior to attending the Symposium. Essay contest winners must be present at the MENTE Symposium in order to receive their award. Prizes include cash gift cards, books, and certificates of recognition.

Deadline for submissions: Tuesday, November 9 @ 5 p.m.
