About CIESESE

The Consortium for Integrating Energy Systems in Engineering & Science Education (CIESESE) program at UTEP has the mission of preparing future generations of engineers in the energy workforce.  With the improvement in technology, there is a great increase in demand for engineers in the field. The Consortium is focused on creating opportunities for students of all grade levels to develop an interest and understanding in engineering-related topics. This is accomplished by implementing educational modules that consist of presentations and hands-on activities to help K-12 students better understand energy-related concepts. The activities are low-cost effective, transferable to classroom, and promote the usage of recycled materials.
