The DElivery Systems and Nano-Therapeutics INnovATION (DESTINATION) Laboratory led by Dr. Wilson Poon is interested in achieving targeted delivery of drugs and biologics in disease treatment. Our group aims to solve drug delivery questions through studying how biology informs nanoparticle-based drug carrier design. Researchers in the lab acquire a broad range of skills, including nanomaterial design and synthesis, genomic technologies, cell culturing, animal handling, as well as cellular and medical imaging. Our vision is to use nanoparticle-biological interaction data and computational analyses to guide future nanomaterial designs and delivery strategies in the clinic.
