May 2025 - Our undergrad COURI MERITUS and OSCEO students Estefania, Trinity, and Xiomara presented their research work on immunomodulatory LNPs, automated image analysis, and LNP screening at the COURI Spring Symposium.

April 2025 - Hannia Balcorta, Mario Mata Corral, Angel Gallegos, Jael Chavez, and Dr. Poon co-authored a research manuscript in Nano Letters entitled "Development of chemical tags for universal lipid nanoparticle visualization and tracking in 2D and 3D imaging", in collaboration with Dr. Natividad-Diaz's lab and Dr. Sivasai Balivada.

February 2025 - Dr. Poon, Denice Peter Rout, and Che Garcia attended the 2025 UT System Trauma Research Symposium in Austin. Dr. Poon and Denice presented their research posters on nanoparticle-enabled immunomodulation approaches for sepsis prevention and treatment.
