Mission
The UTEP Engineering Edge Center (EEC) serves our community with active engagement in outreach and high-impact practices to Retain and Advance traditional and post-traditional students. The EEC engages team members with the goal of increasing student access to excellent higher education, internships, student leadership, training, conference participation, and other professional development opportunities. The EEC supports the College of Engineering, individual departments, and lower division student engineering majors by providing services that empower students to reach their academic and professional goals. UTEP Edge experiences are centered in the EEC for the benefit of all students at all levels within the College of Engineering.
Vision
The UTEP Engineering Edge Center strives to provide students with targeted services that lead to success at all phases in the students’ trajectory: from initially joining the college, to transition into their major, to active participation in career-building, to graduation and professional success.
