Teaching Evaluations
Information in this screen may be used in:
- Faculty profile pages
- College or department reporting (i.e. annual evaluations, merit reviews, tenure
and promotion)
Since the fall of 2006, student course evaluations are available online. Toward the end of each term, students receive a few notifications to access their course(s) evaluation form through their My.UTEP portal. Once the evaluation period has ended, the data is collected and made available to faculty/instructors of record in a couple of ways:
-
My.UTEP portal. Once you have logged in, click on the Faculty & Instructors tab on the left side. You will see the Course Evaluations results module (as well as the Student Photos module) for the courses for which you are the primary instructor. Click on a course name or CRN to see the results.
-
Faculty Success. Available course evaluation data will appear listed in the Teaching Evaluations screen. Click on any section to look at all results. You can also run a custom Teaching Evaluation report with a specific date range. This is useful when submitting your college faculty annual evaluation or merit review. Find out more in the Reports section in this site.
Note: In order to protect student confidentiality, results are not provided for courses containing four (4) or fewer students, and will not be listed online. This policy has been in place for many years. If your course was taught by more than one instructor, you will not see the results online.
If you have no courses shown and feel you should, please email courseevaluations@utep.edu. For more information on course evaluations and support, click here.
