Mission Statement
The Center for History Teaching & Learning exists to promote scholarly teaching among department faculty, to support teacher education among our students, and to provide professional development opportunities for current teachers.
Overview
We strive to accomplish our mission by supporting sound research into history teaching and learning, hosting meaningful professional development events, producing high quality online resources, and publishing valuable instructional materials.
The Center for History Teaching & Learning was founded in May 2009 and is operated by the History Department in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at El Paso.
