New Study Abroad Program offers courses in Latin American History and African Diaspora
Join History professors Dr. Eric Meringer and Dr. Selfa Chew Melendez as they explore Latin America’s historical and cultural diversity through an Ecuadorian microcosm. Our three-week journey (June 1 - June 21, 2022) will take us from the modern port of Guayaquil to the Andean highlands to the Ecuadorian Amazon. Students can enroll in either HIST 3390 with Dr. Meringer or AFST 3390 with Dr. Chew. Low cost of $2405 includes round-trip airfare to Ecuador and in–country lodging. Tuition not included. Scholarships are available for qualified students.
