Dr. Eric Meringer
Dr. Eric Rodrigo Meringer received a PhD from Arizona State University. His research interests focus on twentieth-century indigenous activism and indigenous autonomy in Central America. He has published articles in journals such as the Oral History Review and AlterNative: An International Journal of Indigenous Peoples. Meringer has also written on Oral History methodology and perspectives of Ciudad Juarez during the Mexican drug war. He teaches courses on US history in addition to topics on Latin America and Indigenous history. Dr. Meringer also takes students to South America every summer as part of the Andean Journeys Study Abroad in Ecuador program.
