Alexa Ramirez Garcia at the COURI Summer Virtual Symposium
July 31, 2020
Alexa Ramirez Garcia presented her research at the COURI Summer Virtual Symposium, July 27-31, 2020. Her presentation “The Many Dimensions of Moral Agency” reveals the incomplete and false picture, which “The Common View” paints of moral agency, undercutting the different contributions and roles each attitude makes in the lives of moral agents. As the title suggests, there are many dimensions of moral agency.

Alexa Ramirez Garcia is a first-generation student and citizen completing a degree in Philosophy and Criminal Justice. In the Summer of 2019, she was awarded a position in the Rutgers University Summer Institute for Diversity in Philosophy. She is a 2019-2020 recipient of the Dr. J. M. Roth Memorial Scholarship.
