Corina Lerma
Corina Lerma is an Assistant Instructor and Ph.D. student in the Rhetoric and Composition program at the University of Texas at El Paso. At the same time, she is currently completing an M.A. in Philosophy. She completed her B.A. in Rhetoric and Writing Studies at the University of Texas at Austin and her M.A. in Rhetoric from the University of Texas at El Paso. She has also worked as a writing consultant for both EPCC and UTEP Writing Centers and is currently working as a Teaching Fellow for The Humanities Collaborative at EPCC-UTEP. Corina’s research interests center on border rhetoric, immigration rhetoric, postmodern rhetoric, new materialism, identity studies, and writing center/first-year composition pedagogical practices.
