Project ACE: Action for Equity
Project ACE is a $ 1.35 million, five year interdisciplinary program aimed to get more underrepresented high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds to get interested in college degrees in engineering as well as biomedical and behavioral sciences. The leadership consists of PI's from the colleges of Education (Department of Teacher Education), Engineering (Metallurgical, Materials and Biomedical Engineering) and Liberal Arts (Psychology).
It’s major goal is to prepare students from Del Valle High School, Canutillo High School and Gadsden High School for biomedical careers.
