UTEP Psychology Student Receives National Research Excellence Award

Congratulations to Minerva Rodrigez who received the National Award of Excellence in Research by a Student. This award is given to graduate students who have excelled in their research and/or in publications. To date, she has nine peer-reviewed publications, with two additional papers currently under review. Among these, her first-authored paper was published in the Journal of Affective Disorders, titled: "Chronic social defeat stress in prairie voles (Microtus ochrogaster): A preclinical model for the study of depression-related phenotypes."
