Research Projects
The SEGA lab conducts collaborative, multidisciplinary, and externally funded research on a variety of topics at the intersection of social and environmental sciences. Current projects involving UTEP faculty and students focus on applying geospatial methodologies and technologies to examine adverse and unequal environmental risk burdens and health impacts that affect socially disadvantaged and vulnerable communities across the world.
