Our Core Values
We are the voice for the voiceless advocate for the social change. Be the beacon and the leader of social justice for the region using theatre and dance as a platform. Through our courses, research, productions and mentorships, we guide and support students as role models, allies and pave the way for their success and social mobility.
The UTEP Department of Theatre & Dance is thrilled to be bringing audiences another exciting season of shows. This fall, we will be opening our season with the world premeire of the new play called Borderline, written by Andrew Saenez de la O. Following Boderline, we will be presenting the beloved play, Zoot Suit, in late November.
The spring semester will open with a production of Heroes and Saints. Our season will be closing with a dance festival in late the Spring 2023 semester. We are so happy to continue bringing important stories to the El Paso community. We hope to see everyone in our audiences for these exciting new productions.
