Accelerate El Paso
Accelerate El Paso is an initiative developed through a partnership between the City of El Paso and local business organizations focusing on developing the region’s minority business community through a $100,000 grant from Living Cities comprised of funds from the Citi Foundation.
The initiative includes the creation of a program that could enhance utilization of local resources and local business partners
The Mike Loya Center for Innovation and Commerce worked diligently to map the current entrepreneurship ecosystem in El Paso.
The goal of this ecosystem depiction is to start to understand the local business environment, specifically those organizations that enhance the opportunities and diminish the threats for small and medium sized businesses. This is the first attempt at designing a map of available services that are provided in the region
