Where do I park?
Parking permits or instructions will be emailed before your session.
When should I arrive?
- Freshman Orientation (Spring, Summer, Fall): Check-in begins at 7:30 AM (Spring), 7:00 AM (Summer/Fall).
- Transfer Orientation: Check-in begins at 7:30 AM.
Are meals provided?
No. Meals are not provided. Students can purchase food on campus.
Can I bring a guest with me?
Yes, but guests must be a parent or family member who will provide guidance and support.
What do I wear?
Comfortable clothes and shoes for walking around campus.
Do I need my UTEP email account ready?
Yes. You’ll use it for course registration.
Will I get my Miner Gold Card?
Yes, if pre-enrolled in at least one class and photo uploaded through Get Mobile App.
Are accommodations available for disabilities?
Yes. Call our office before your session.
Do I need to bring money?
Yes, for food, snacks, or campus purchases.
Will I need to walk around campus?
Yes. Be prepared for walking between buildings.
