As the only AACSB-accredited MBA program in the region, students can further their business acumen through optional synchronous evening classes and asynchronous assignments. Students can also access the Coursera learning modules to enhance their technical knowledge and earn professional certificates during their program. Students can participate in a business challenge during the International Faculty-Led Program.

As a full-time employee and mother, Sonia Aguilar knew the accelerated MBA program at UTEP would be perfect for her. Earning her MBA allowed her to gain new skills and a raise in her position as the senior external funding specialist for El Paso Independent School District, and it gave her opportunities to study abroad in both China and Germany. It also inspired her to pursue a Doctor of Education at UTEP.
