Advance your leadership in teaching with UTEP’s College of Education Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction Leadership. This 48-credit hour program is accessible through a 100% online format. The program prepares scholar-practitioners for K–12 instructional leadership through advanced pedagogy, research and innovative practices that improve curriculum and student learning outcomes.

Alyse C. Hachey, Ph.D., is a Professor and Teacher Education Department Co-Chair at UTEP, serving as Division Director of BELSS. Her work focuses on curriculum development, early childhood cognition and equitable access to education, particularly for marginalized populations in STEM pathways. She prepares educators to lead instructional innovation.
Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in education including instructional coordination, curriculum design, training and development, program leadership and other advanced K–12 instructional improvement positions.
