Forensic Science
Our Forensic Science Program was developed following the guidelines of the American Association of Forensic Science and includes tracks in Biology, Chemistry, Geology and Physics. Our first class of students starts during the fall 2011 semester.
We are currently forming our Forensic Science Advisory Committee of internal and external members, practitioners in the field of forensic science.
We are also creating our first Forensic Science Club during the fall 2011 semester. Want to join? Email forensicscience@utep.edu or come visit us at the College of Science at UTEP.
The BS in Forensic Science is a relatively new degree started in the fall 2011 semester. The Forensic Science Club is be designed to enable students to learn about career fields, graduate school, establish a presence in the American Academy of Forensic Science (AAFS), and to form student and professional networks.
