Characterizing highly energetic solid materials for use as rocket fuels
This research was supported by a Department of Defense – Missile Defense Agency (DOD-MDA) award and was based on collaborative efforts with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UTEP, particularly with Dr. Ahsan Choudhuri and Dr. Arturo Bronson. It also aided the broadening of the research collaboration with the Brookhaven National Laboratory, the Metal Hydrides Center of Excellence – specifically with Dr. James Wegrzyn, Dr. Jason Graetz, and Dr. David Lacina.
