Dr. Catie McCorry Andalis
Catie McCorry-Andalis, Associate Vice President and Dean of Students at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) earned a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from Notre Dame de Namur University and a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration at UTEP. McCorry-Andalis has worked at several institutions including Pepperdine University and California State University, East Bay, managing on-campus housing, new student orientation and leadership development programs for undergraduate and graduate students. Since arriving at UTEP, McCorry-Andalis, has greatly expanded student support and student engagement opportunities for first generation college students including conducting and publishing research on the social and academic adjustment of students who have participated in an early college high school and transitioned to a four-year institution. Throughout her career, McCorry-Andalis has been active in professional organizations and her local community including helping to establish the annual Home Run for the Homeless 5K run/walk benefiting a local shelter.
