Registration Errors
Are you not able to register for any classes at all? If so, below are some steps to help you get registered.
Make sure that it is your time to register. Remember, registration happens by classification. Spring 2022 registration opens to students as follows:

- Seniors and Graduate Students: October 25th, 2021
- Juniors: November 1st, 2021
- Sophomores: November 8th, 2021
- Freshmen: November 15th, 2021
- Make sure you don’t have any holds on your record. View our PDF on how to check for holds. If you have holds, you will need to clear them with the appropriate departments.
- Make sure your academic standing is in good. View our PDF on how to check if you are in good standing. If not, you will want to reach out to your college dean’s office for next steps.
TYPES OF REGISTRATION ERRORS
Below are some common registration errors encountered when trying to register for specific sections and suggested next steps on how to overcome them:

Level Restriction |
If this course is an UG/GR course, then only students in the same UG/GR level can register for it |

Major Restriction |

NOTE: The academic department chair of the sections may need to grant their approval to resolve some of these issues.
