Donations
Founded in 2014, the UTEP Food Pantry offers support and assistance to UTEP students who are dealing with food insecurity. Food insecurity refers to having limited food available, including a reduction in the quality, safety or variety of food or ability to acquire food in a socially acceptable manner. At UTEP, we recognize that food insecurity is an obstacle to student success and think it’s critical that students’ basic needs are being met.
The UTEP Food Pantry depends on the financial support and donations of the community in order to: obtain food for the pantry, facilitate programs that bring awareness to food insecurity, and market the Pantry to current students. Please consider donating non-perishable food or making a monetary donation to the UTEP Food Pantry today. We welcome your support and thank you in advance for any and all contributions made to the UTEP Food Pantry.
